My quilts are pieces of art. They are like fine wine, meant to be savored and treasured! Quilting is an art, just like painting and writing. When you purchase a quilt or even have one from your Mother, Grandmother, or bought from an antique store, they are memories, comforts, pieces of art and loved by all whom enjoy them. People use quilts to sleep with or to decorate walls with. They can be your best friend on cold winter nights. And can be enjoyed by family and friends in years to come.
Also, in a way I consider myself to be a quilt designer. I study patterns and make my own patterns. I have been doing this for years. Unless you are looking for a Grandmothers fan in a traditional pattern, I will add my own touch to call it my own! This is another reason why quilts are unique pieces of art!
